When his work permit expires in New York, Jaswinder Bedi (Ritesh Deshmukh) gets married to a bar dancer, Sally Turner (Brande Roderick), and moves in with her. When he is informed that his Patiala-based father, Jatta Singh Bedi (Amrish Puri), is ill, he rushes home – only to find that he must now get married to Richa (Hrishitaa Bhatt) or else his sister will remain unmarried for life. He marries Richa, leaves her behind, and returns back to Sally. Jaswinder will find himself not only in hot soup after the arrival of his father and Richa, but will also face numerous charges when Sally decides to sue him.
